Ricciuti Enterprise is managed by a father and son team, Domenic Ricciuti, Sr., and Domenic (Dom) Ricciuti, Jr. “My dad and I became partners around 12 to 13 years ago,” said Domenic Ricciuti, Jr. “Dad was partners with his brothers before that.”
Now in the third generation, the business continues to evolve. The father and son team prioritize keeping the enterprise as a family-owned and operated business. “Dad and I have a very respectful relationship as a father and son, and that’s unique,” shared Ricciuti. “He listens to me, and I listen to him, and we work very well together. Being family-owned and operated is important to our brand. Almost everyone in the company is family and if not, they’ve been with us long enough to be considered family. We’ll even let them adopt our name if they want!”
Over its span of more than 60 years, homes custom-built by Ricciuti Enterprise have featured numerous architectural styles along with a wide range of sizes and pricing. The Ricciuti family prioritizes customer service and quality construction. With each job, the team at Ricciuti Enterprise remains focused on the customer, taking into consideration their desires and the budget allotted for the project. This dedication along with the company’s commitment to keeping up with the latest trends and designs in the home building industry contribute to their continued success.

An Exciting New Project is Underway in O’Hara Township
In O’Hara Township, an exciting new development is underway along the banks of the Allegheny River. Miramar Landings will feature 38 beautifully designed single-family townhouse units on the waterfront at the former location of the Bell Harbor Yacht Club.
Building a community with options for a lifestyle that includes water-related activities was particularly appealing to the Ricciuti family. “We found the parcel in O’Hara Township very unique,” said Ricciuti. “Our family grew up around boats and we love boating and being on the water. When we heard about this land parcel, we were really interested in trying to make something work at this location.”
Ricciuti believes in building not just a home, but a lifestyle. “Even if you don’t have a boat, the river is still there for residents to enjoy. Fishing is always an option as is kayaking to Sycamore Island which is in the middle of the Allegheny River,” said Ricciuti. “It’s definitely a lifestyle we’re selling whether it be golf, outdoor activities, walking trails, or riding trails.
Darlene Hunter, vice president and regional new homes manager for Howard Hanna Real Estate Services echoes Ricciuti’s sentiments about the riverfront location. “Miramar Landings will be situated along one of the Allegheny River’s calmest points making it a tranquil and serene place to live,” she said. “Another wonderful feature is that every homeowner will have the opportunity to purchase an annual license for a dock slip at the adjacent marina which will be owned by the homeowners’ association.”
About Miramar Landings
Nestled within the walkable neighborhood of O’Hara Township, Miramar Landings will feature 38 homes in pairs. Each unit will be uniquely positioned as an end townhome with an enticing contemporary design.
Thoughtfully designed, the townhomes feature 2,746 square feet of living space that includes three bedrooms and two and a half baths. Additionally, an unfinished space on the lower level provides versatility and the opportunity to add an additional family living space, office, study, or a fourth bedroom. A covered lanai extends from the outside of the additional space. The lower level is adjacent to a two-car garage. A covered entryway leads into the downstairs foyer.
On the second level, the design includes a great room, kitchen, dining space, and a half-bath. A covered deck extends from the dining room. “Although we have a standard design in place, we are by trade a custom home builder,” Ricciuti said. “We let our customers choose what they want to do inside. Decisions about how they want to lay out the kitchen and where they want the fireplace are up to our customers.”
Level three features an owner’s suite with a walk-in closet and a master bath with a ceramic shower. Bedrooms two and three are also on the top level along with a full bath and laundry area.
Additional highlights of the townhomes include:
- Covered composite deck, aluminum railing and privacy fence
- Concrete rear patio
- Concrete or asphalt driveways
- Clopay insulated steel garage doors
- Manufactured stone accents on the exterior first level
- Andersen windows
- High-efficiency Carrier furnace
- 200 amp electrical service
- Hard surface countertops throughout
- Linear fireplace in great room
Home buyers will also have the option to add an elevator. “The elevator option provides another level of accessibility for the townhomes,” said Hunter. “This is especially helpful for seniors with concerns of future mobility challenges.”
A model townhome is currently under construction. “The model will be fully decked out with every conceivable upgrade so that prospective buyers can choose the options that work best for their lifestyle,” said Hunter.
About O’Hara Township
The O’Hara Township sits six miles northeast of Downtown Pittsburgh. Waterfront scenery and a slower-paced riverside lifestyle attract residents to this charming community. Much of the community features single-family homes shaded by trees and boasting larger lots. The townhomes of Miramar Landings offer another benefit – low-maintenance nestled in a scenic riverfront setting.
“This is an excellent product for young professionals with children,” said Ricciuti. “With a homeowners association, they don’t have to do maintenance like mowing the grass and can instead spend more time with their kids.”
Another benefit to the O’Hara Township for families is the school district. Students in O’Hara Township attend the Fox Chapel Area School District, which is nationally and state-recognized for its excellence. The district consistently enjoys top-tier ratings in academics, teachers, and college preparation. All six schools have earned the National Blue Ribbon Awards. The school district’s arts and music department has also won awards.
Situated along the scenic Allegheny River, O’Hara Township’s recreation spaces are abundant. The Chapel Harbor Riverfront Park shows off incredible panoramic vistas of the river enjoyed from paved paths or a small pier with a bench. It’s easy to launch a kayak or canoe from the park for more water exploration. Other park amenities in the township include picnic shelters, playgrounds, ballfields, basketball courts, and tennis courts.
The close proximity to other communities is also a highlight of Miramar Landings’ location. With Shaler Township to the west, Harmar Township, Oakmont, and Verona to the east, and Sharpsburg, Aspinwall, and Blawnox to the south, residents at Miramar Landings will have access to numerous grocery stores, plentiful shopping options, and a variety of restaurants.
